Game Summary

Broughton and Cary played to a 2-2 tie in hotly contested non-conference game. It was a game of two halves with Broughton scoring twice in the first half and Cary getting both their goals in the second half. Broughton's first goal was scored from a Abdulle Ibrahim corner that was flicked into the near post by Sam Stein. Cesar Gonzalez scored his first goal of the season off a nice through ball from Edson Candela-Perez.
Not content to take a the loss, Cary scored two goals in the last 10 minutes to earn the draw. The equalizer coming in the 77th minute after winning the ball back deep in the Broughton half. Both teams battled to get the win in the waning moments of the game, but they will have to be satisfied with the draw. Cary goes to 2-1-1 and Broughton's record is now 2-0-1.
