The Dekaney Wildcats (Houston, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Montgomery Bears (Montgomery, TX), 64-39 in Friday's league test.

The Wildcats (22-7) will now prepare for their test against Westfield (Houston, TX). The Mustangs go into the 6A Region II District 15 test with a 15-13 record. In their last test, Westfield was trounced by Klein (Klein, TX), 50-39, in a league test.

The Bears now own a 5-21 record. They play next when they host Klein Oak for a 6A Region II District 15 test on Tuesday, February 2. Montgomery will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 70-52 league loss to Spring (Spring, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 7-19.
