Gulfport Admirals (Gulfport, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Harrison Central Red Rebels (Gulfport, MS), 5-3 in a league test.

With the win, Gulfport upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Admirals travel to Bay (Bay St. Louis, MS) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, April 2. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 6-10. Bay won 12-2 in their recent league test against Greene County (Leakesville, MS)

With the defeat, Harrison Central falls to 10-5 on the season. The Red rebels host West Harrison (Gulfport, MS) to battle the Hurricanes in a non-league test on Saturday, April 2. The Hurricanes come into the test with a record of 7-10. West Harrison lost 11-7 in their recent league test against St. Martin (Ocean Springs, MS)
