The Cass Colonels basketball team (Cartersville, GA), was nudged 50-43 in Friday's league battle with the host Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA)

The Dragons now sport a 5-11 record. They play next when they host River Ridge for a 7A-AAAA battle on Tuesday, January 8. Pickens will meet a Knights team coming off a 56-54 non-league loss to Cherokee (Canton, GA). The Knights record now stands at 5-11.
