Game Summary
Taylor Petersen broke a 3-3 tie in the sixth inning by lining a two-out triple into left-centerfield scoring two runs for Teton. The Redskins would tack on three more runs behind rbi hits from Jake Schultz and Kolton Bleggi. Teton starting pitcher Coleman McCallum threw five innings while striking out 11 batters and allowing one base hit. The hit from Sugar-Salem outfielder Derek Ostermiller was two-run home run that gave the Diggers a 3-2 lead in the fifth inning. Teton relief pitcher Jaxon Reiley threw two scoreless innings striking out six and scattering three hits to pick up the win. Reiley collected two base hits including a single scoring Jacob Abbott in the fifth inning which knotted the game at three runs each. Teton improved their record to 8-6; 2-1 in Mountain Rivers Conference play.
