October 4, 2013: Tioga, LA 71405 The Tioga Indians football team (Tioga, LA), was tipped 26-21 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Avoyelles Mustangs (Moreauville, LA)
The Mustangs (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Caldwell Parish (Columbia, LA). The Spartans come into the 3A District 3 challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Caldwell Parish nipped Cedar Creek (Ruston, LA), 44-28, in a non-league challenge.
The Indians now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bolton for a 4A District 3 challenge on Friday, October 11. Tioga will meet a Bears team coming off a 48-14 non-league loss to Beau Chene (Arnaudville, LA). The Bears record now stands at 1-4.
