The Notre Dame Catholic Knights basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the host Prairie Valley Bulldogs to 37 in the Knights non-league victory on Friday.

The Knights now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Perrin-Whitt for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12.

The Bulldogs (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Gold-Burg (Bowie, TX). The Bears come into the 1A Region III District 21 contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Gold-Burg was nudged by Chillicothe (Chillicothe, TX), 37-19, in a non-league contest.
