Indiana High School Basketball - NorthWood holds off Warsaw
January 31, 2014: Nappanee, IN 46550 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the NorthWood Panthers (Nappanee, IN) and the visiting Warsaw Tigers (Warsaw, IN), saw NorthWood's basketball squad hold off Warsaw by a tally of 54-47.
With the victory, NorthWood improves its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host West Noble (Ligonier, IN) to confront the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 4. The Chargers go into the outing with a record of 11-1. West Noble lost 62-59 in their recent league outing against Fairfield (Goshen, IN)
The Tigers now own a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Indianapolis Northwest for a non-league outing on Friday, January 31. Warsaw will encounter a Space Pioneers squad coming off a 107-38 league win over Indianapolis Arlington (Indianapolis, IN). The Space Pioneers record now stands at 1-9.
