Arizona High School Basketball - Walden Grove can't hold off Willcox
January 3, 2014: Willcox, AZ 85643 The Willcox Cowboys basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Walden Grove to 48 in the Cowboys non-league victory on Friday.
The Cowboys now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Empire for a non-league contest on Friday, January 3. Willcox will battle a Ravens team coming off a 62-39 non-league win over Maricopa (Maricopa, AZ). The Ravens record now stands at 6-7.
The (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Mogollon (Heber, AZ). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 3-12 record. In their last contest, Mogollon edged Ash Fork (Ash Fork, AZ), 62-41, in a non-league contest.
