The Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Vipers topped the visiting Westchester Comets volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Vipers now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they host North Valley Military Institute for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 6.

With the loss, Westchester moves to 0-2 on the year. The Comets travel to Hamilton (Los Angeles, CA) to battle the Yankees in a Western contest on Wednesday, March 14. The Yankees go into the contest with a record of 0-3.
