Michigan High School Football - Hastings can't hold off South Christian
October 20, 2006: Hastings, MI 49058 South Christian Sailors (Grand Rapids, MI) supporters exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they observed their football squad get by the host Hastings Saxons (Hastings, MI), 40-36 in a league challenge.
The Sailors now hold a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Catholic Central for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 27. South Christian will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 38-7 league win over Christian (Grand Rapids, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 7-2.
With the defeat, Hastings moves to 4-5 on the campaign.
