The University School of Jackson Bruins basketball team scored 81 points and held the visiting Gibson County Pioneers to 65 in the Bruins non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bruins now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Obion County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 1. University School of Jackson will battle a Rebels team coming off a 53-42 non-league win over Henry County (Paris, TN). The Rebels record now stands at 3-0.

The Pioneers (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Halls (Halls, TN). The Tigers go into the A District 14 bout with a 3-0 record.
