North Carolina High School Basketball - Mount Tabor tops Carver
December 5, 2017: Winston-Salem, NC 27106 Mount Tabor Spartans (Winston-Salem, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Carver Yellowjackets (Winston-Salem, NC), 67-51 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Mount Tabor upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 0-1.
Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy Phoenix (Winston-Salem, NC) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Carver will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Phoenix come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 46-45 non-league loss to Piedmont Classical (Greensboro, NC).
