The North Tahoe Lakers (Tahoe City, CA) baseball nipped the host Virginia City Muckers (Virginia City, NV), 13-12 in Thursday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Lakers play the Whittell Warriors (Zephyr Cove, NV) in a 3A/2A Mount Rose contest, on Saturday, April 28. North Tahoe will attempt to better on its 15-7 season record. The Warriors enter the contest with a 3-12 record after their 8-3 league loss to North Tahoe (Tahoe City, CA).

The Muckers now sport a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mineral County for a Northern 1A contest on Friday, April 27. Virginia City will play a Serpents squad coming off a 9-8 league win over Smith Valley (Smith, NV). The Serpents record now stands at 9-8.
