West Union Dragons (West Union, OH) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host East Tartans (Sciotoville, OH), 70-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, West Union upgrades its record to 2-7 on the campaign. The Dragons host Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington (Ripley, OH) to play the Blue Jays in a Southern Hills bout on Thursday, January 9. The Blue Jays come into the bout with a record of 0-4. Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington lost 47-24 in their recent non-league bout against Georgetown (Georgetown, OH)

Next up, the Tartans play the Glenwood Tigers (New Boston, OH) in a Southern Ohio I bout, on Thursday, January 23. East will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
