South Dakota High School Basketball - Washington fells St. Paul Central
January 3, 2015: Sioux Falls, SD 57110 Washington Warriors (Sioux Falls, SD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting St. Paul Central Minutemen (St. Paul, MN), 47-32 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Washington upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Warriors travel to Sioux City North (Sioux City, IA) to play the Stars in a non-league bout on Friday, January 9. The Stars go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Sioux City North won 94-72 in their recent non-league bout against Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA)
Next up, the Minutemen play the Johnson Governors (St. Paul, MN) in a St. Paul City bout, on Wednesday, January 7. St. Paul Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Governors go into the bout with a 8-2 record after their 86-75 non-league win over Chanhassen (Chanhassen, MN).
