Florida High School Basketball - Interlachen holds off Forrest

Interlachen Rams (Interlachen, FL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Forrest Rebels (Jacksonville, FL), 75-72 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Interlachen upgrades its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Rams host Bradford (Starke, FL) to play the Tornadoes in a 4A District 5 bout on Thursday, January 5. The Tornadoes come into the bout with a record of 6-6.

Next up, the Rebels play the Paxon Golden Eagles (Jacksonville, FL) in a 5A District 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Forrest will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 50-48 non-league win over Lee (Jacksonville, FL).
