West Virginia High School Basketball - East Fairmont trounced by Nicholas County
February 3, 2010: Fairmont, WV 26554 The Nicholas County Grizzlies routed the host East Fairmont Bees basketball team by a final score of 74-52 in Wednesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Grizzlies face the Richwood Lumberjacks (Richwood, WV) in a non-league game, on Monday, February 8. Nicholas County will attempt to move on its 9-2 season record. The Lumberjacks enter the game with a 1-6 record after their 55-53 league win over Mount Hope (Mount Hope, WV).
With the defeat, East Fairmont moves to 3-11 on the year. The Bees host University (Morgantown, WV) to clash with the Hawks in a North Central test on Friday, February 5. The Hawks go into the test with a record of 4-11. University won 61-60 in their recent non-league test against Marshall (Glen Dale, WV)
