Massachusetts High School Softball - Beverly bounces Essex Tech
April 14, 2018: Hathorne, MA 01937 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Beverly Panthers (Beverly, MA) and the host Essex Tech Hawks (Hathorne, MA), saw Beverly's softball squad nip Essex Tech by a count of 8-3.
The Panthers now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Saugus for a Northeast match on Monday, April 16. Beverly will face a Sachems squad coming off a 6-2 league loss to Marblehead (Marblehead, MA). The Sachems record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Essex Tech falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Hawks host Wilmington (Wilmington, MA) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Monday, April 16. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 1-1. Wilmington won 8-0 in their recent league match against Belmont (Belmont, MA)
