Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Alcona Tigers (Lincoln, MI) and the host Oscoda Owls (Oscoda, MI), saw Alcona's basketball squad knock off Oscoda by a score of 61-41.

With the victory, Alcona improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Au Gres-Sims (Au Gres, MI) to battle the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 17. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Owls battle the Hale Eagles (Hale, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 18. Oscoda will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record.
