The Faith Baptist Contenders basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting St. Monica Academy Crusaders to 34 in the Contenders non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Contenders now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lancaster Baptist for a Heritage contest on Thursday, January 21.

The Crusaders (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Southwestern Academy (San Marino, CA). The Sun come into the International contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Southwestern Academy triumphed over Calvary Baptist (La Verne, CA), 53-35, in a league contest.
