The North Saxons routed the visiting Saguaro Sabercats basketball team by a final score of 54-21 in Monday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Saxons face the Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, December 29. North will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record. The Pride enter the game with a 9-2 record after their 45-40 non-league win over Timpanogos (Orem, UT).

With the defeat, Saguaro moves to 6-5 on the year. The Sabercats host Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ) to face the Bulldogs in a 4A Desert Sky game on Tuesday, January 5. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 3-8. Queen Creek lost 62-24 in their recent non-league game against Apollo (Glendale, AZ)
