The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Ford City Sabers (Ford City, PA) and the visiting Deer Lakes Lancers (Russellton, PA), observed Ford City's football squad defeat Deer Lakes by a count of 38-21.

The Sabers now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Valley for a WPIAL AA Allegheny contest on Friday, October 25. Ford City will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 36-21 league loss to Kittanning (Kittanning, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 5-3.
