Texas High School Basketball - Kennedy fells Holy Cross
December 10, 2011: San Antonio, TX 78226 Kennedy Rockets (San Antonio, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting Holy Cross Knights (San Antonio, TX), 54-41 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Kennedy upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Southside (San Antonio, TX) to play the Cardinals in a 4A Region IV District 29 bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 5-10. Southside lost 67-43 in their recent league bout against Edison (San Antonio, TX)
Next, the Knights clash with the Cole Cougars (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league test, on Monday, December 12. Holy Cross will attempt to advance on its 1-12 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 6-1 record after their 50-47 non-league loss to Hondo (Hondo, TX).
