The Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ) basketball knocked off the visiting Tempe Buffaloes (Tempe, AZ), 71-58 in Monday's league test.

The Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Central (Phoenix, AZ). The Bobcats go into the non-league test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Central went down by Cienega (Vail, AZ), 68-40, in a non-league test.
