Mississippi High School Basketball - Hamilton tops Amory
January 14, 2016: Hamilton, MS 39746 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Hamilton Lions (Hamilton, MS) and the visiting Amory Panthers (Amory, MS), saw Hamilton's basketball squad knock off Amory by a count of 48-37.
With the victory, Hamilton upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Caledonia (Caledonia, MS) to play the Confederates in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 25. The Confederates come into the challenge with a record of 12-5.
Next up, the Panthers play the Shannon Red Raiders (Shannon, MS) in a 4A Region 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 19. Amory will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a 13-9 record after their 49-42 non-league loss to Saltillo (Saltillo, MS).
