In Friday's league game, the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays (Bondurant, IA) football team knocked off the host North Polk Comets (Alleman, IA), by a final score of 47-19.

The Bluejays (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Ballard (Huxley, IA). The Bombers come into the 3A District 8 game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Ballard toppled Gilbert (Gilbert, IA), 48-23, in a league game.

The Comets now hold a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Norwalk for a 3A District 8 game on Friday, September 28. North Polk will battle a Warriors team coming off a 32-7 league win over Carlisle (Carlisle, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-3.
