The Hoover Cardinals (San Diego, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Impact Academy (Hayward, CA), 84-78 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Cardinals (7-0) will now prepare for their test against Foothill (Henderson, NV). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 7-0 record. In their last test, Foothill got by Southeast Career Tech (Las Vegas, NV), 65-52, in a league test.

The now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mullen for a non-league test on Thursday, December 17. Impact Academy will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 77-63 non-league loss to Regis Jesuit (Aurora, CO). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-2.
