Colorado High School Basketball - Dakota Ridge edges Pueblo County
January 3, 2009: Littleton, CO 80127 The Dakota Ridge Eagles (Littleton, CO) basketball nipped the visiting Pueblo County Hornets (Pueblo, CO), 48-44 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Eagles (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Douglas County (Castle Rock, CO). The Huskies go into the non-league test with a 1-8 record. In their last test, Douglas County was tipped by Mitchell (Colorado Springs, CO), 55-29, in a non-league test.
The Hornets now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Pueblo South for a 4A South Central test on Tuesday, January 6. Pueblo County will clash with a Colts squad coming off a 84-39 non-league win over Harrison (Colorado Springs, CO). The Colts record now stands at 9-0.
