With the victory, Coahoma County improves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Red Panthers travel to West Bolivar (Rosedale, MS) to confront the Eagles in a 2A Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 6-8. West Bolivar lost 54-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Cleveland Central (Cleveland, MS)
Next, the Tigers encounter the Broad Street Jaguars (Shelby, MS) in a 1A Region 3 test, on Tuesday, January 2. Brooks will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record. The Jaguars go into the test with a 2-8 record after their 36-34 non-league loss to West Bolivar (Rosedale, MS).
