October 8, 2011: Urbandale, IA 50322 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Urbandale J-Hawks (Urbandale, IA) and the visiting Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons (Parkersburg, IA), saw Urbandale's volleyball squad beat Aplington-Parkersburg by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Urbandale upgrades its record to 26-6 on the year. The J-Hawks travel to Ankeny (Ankeny, IA) to play the Hawks in a Central Iowa Metro - Central bout on Tuesday, October 11. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 20-5. Ankeny lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Iowa City (Iowa City, IA)
The Falcons now own a 14-12 record.
