January 19, 2018: Silver Spring, MD 20901 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Sherwood Warriors (Sandy Spring, MD) and the host Blair Blazers (Silver Spring, MD), saw Sherwood's basketball squad overcome Blair by a tally of 54-46.
With the victory, Sherwood improves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Springbrook (Silver Spring, MD) to play the Blue Devils in a Montgomery 4A East challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 12-3. Springbrook won 79-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Magruder (Rockville, MD)
Next up, the Blazers play the Northwood Gladiators (Silver Spring, MD) in a Montgomery 4A East challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Blair will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Gladiators come into the challenge with a 1-10 record after their 84-61 league loss to Paint Branch (Burtonsville, MD).
