California High School Basketball - Ripon fells Hughson

February 7, 2012: Ripon, CA 95366

Ripon Indians (Ripon, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting Hughson Huskies (Hughson, CA), 54-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, Ripon upgrades its record to 13-11 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Modesto Christian (Modesto, CA) to play the Crusaders in a Trans Valley bout on Friday, February 10. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 19-5. Modesto Christian lost 69-68 in their recent non-league bout against Weston Ranch (Stockton, CA)

Next, the Huskies clash with the Escalon Cougars (Escalon, CA) in a Trans Valley test, on Friday, February 10. Hughson will attempt to advance on its 5-17 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 12-12 record after their 72-50 league win over Orestimba (Newman, CA).
