Texas High School Basketball - Boyd falls to Leander
December 29, 2008: Leander, TX 78641 The Leander Lions basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Boyd Broncos to 50 in the Lions non-league triumph on Monday.
The Lions now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host The Colony for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 30. Leander will meet a Cougars team coming off a 57-51 non-league win over Northwest (Justin, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 8-8.
The Broncos (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Ranchview (Irving, TX). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 4-11 record. In their last contest, Ranchview was defeated by The Colony (The Colony, TX), 81-48, in a non-league contest.
