The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Damascus Hornets (Damascus, MD) and the host Sherwood Warriors (Sandy Spring, MD), saw Damascus's volleyball squad beat Sherwood by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Damascus upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Hornets host Churchill (Potomac, MD) to play the Bulldogs in a Montgomery County 4A - West bout on Wednesday, September 14. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

The Warriors now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Connelly School of the Holy Child for a bout on Tuesday, September 13.
