Grant Cougars (Dry Prong, LA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Jena Giants (Jena, LA), 71-26 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Grant upgrades its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Atlanta (Atlanta, LA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 3. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 9-0. Atlanta won 80-47 in their recent non-league bout against Weston (Jonesboro, LA)

In their next game, the Giants face the Sicily Island Tigers (Sicily Island, LA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, December 21. Jena will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record.
