With the triumph, Benton upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Mansfield (Mansfield, LA) to clash with the Wolverines in a 3A District 1 game on Friday, October 6. The Wolverines enter the game with a record of 3-2. Mansfield won 21-13 in their recent non-league game against Port Barre (Port Barre, LA)
The Rebels now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Springhill for a 2A District 1 game on Friday, October 6. North Caddo will meet a Lumberjacks team coming off a 27-21 non-league loss to Jonesboro-Hodge (Jonesboro, LA). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 3-2.
