The Westover Wolverines basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the host Gray's Creek Bears to 43 in the Wolverines league victory on Wednesday.

The Wolverines now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Overhills for a Patriot 3A/4A contest on Friday, February 2. Westover will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 69-42 league win over South View (Hope Mills, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 16-4.

The Bears (3-17) will now prepare for their contest against Douglas Byrd (Fayetteville, NC). The Eagles come into the Patriot 3A/4A contest with a 4-15 record. In their last contest, Douglas Byrd was nudged by E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC), 72-70, in a league contest.
