The West Brook Bruins football squad scored 27 points and restricted the visiting Sterling Rangers to 26 in the Bruins league victory on Thursday.

The Bruins now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Porte for a 6A Region III District 21 battle on Friday, October 23. West Brook will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 31-24 league win over Port Arthur Memorial (Port Arthur, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-1.

Coming up next, the Rangers play the North Shore Mustangs (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region III District 21 battle, on Friday, October 23. Sterling will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record.
