April 4, 2009: Watertown, CT 06795 The Taft Big Red lacrosse squad scored 13 points and held the visiting Berkshire Bears to 10 in the Big Red non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Big Red (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Brunswick (Greenwich, CT). The Bruins go into the Founders match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Brunswick nudged Loomis Chaffee (Windsor, CT), 10-6, in a league match.
The Bears (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Avon Old Farms (Avon, CT). The Beavers go into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Avon Old Farms nudged Northfield Mount Hermon (Northfield, MA), 13-11, in a league match.
