California High School Football - Mater Dei beat Santa Margarita
October 31, 2008: Santa Ana, CA 92707 The Mater Dei Monarchs football squad scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Santa Margarita Eagles to 28 in the Monarchs league victory on Friday.
The Monarchs now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. John Bosco for a Trinity battle on Friday, November 7. Mater Dei will play a Braves squad coming off a 33-6 league win over JSerra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano, CA). The Braves record now stands at 7-1.
Coming up next, the Eagles play the Lutheran Lancers (Orange, CA) in a Trinity battle, on Thursday, November 6. Santa Margarita will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Lancers enter the battle with a 6-2 record after their 14-10 league loss to Servite (Anaheim, CA).
