Georgia High School Football - Metter felled by Vidalia

In Friday's league game, the Vidalia Indians (Vidalia, GA) football team were victorious over the visiting Metter Tigers (Metter, GA), by a score of 20-7.

The Indians (8-1) will now prepare for their game against Bacon County (Alma, GA). The Raiders come into the AA Region 2 game with a 2-7 record. In their last game, Bacon County knocked off Bryan County (Pembroke, GA), 21-3, in a league game.

The Tigers now sport a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jeff Davis for a AA Region 2 game on Friday, November 2. Metter will meet a Yellowjackets team coming off a 14-0 league loss to Swainsboro (Swainsboro, GA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 6-3.
