North Carolina High School Football - High Point Central beat Asheboro

The High Point Central Bison football squad scored 35 points and restricted the host Asheboro Blue Comets to 17 in the Bison non-league victory on Friday.

The Bison now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thomasville for a non-league contest on Friday, September 6. High Point Central will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 14-7 non-league win over Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.

Coming up next, the Blue Comets play the North Davidson Knights (Lexington, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 6. Asheboro will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 40-19 non-league win over Ledford (Thomasville, NC).
