West Virginia High School Basketball - WestSide nips Martinsburg
December 30, 2014: Clear Fork, WV 24822 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the WestSide Renegades (Clear Fork, WV) and the visiting Martinsburg Bulldogs (Martinsburg, WV), saw WestSide's basketball squad hold off Martinsburg by a tally of 65-62.
With the victory, WestSide improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Renegades travel to Logan (Logan, WV) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 3. The Wildcats come into the battle with a record of 4-0. Logan won 63-61 in their recent non-league battle against Winfield (Winfield, WV)
The Bulldogs (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Washington (Charles Town, WV). The come into the Eastern Panhandle battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Washington edged Wood (Winchester, VA), 65-47, in a non-league battle.
