San Juan Spartans (Citrus Heights, CA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Encina Prep Bulldogs (Sacramento, CA), 30-20 in a league test.

With the triumph, San Juan improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Spartans host Mesa Verde (Citrus Heights, CA) to confront the Mavericks in a non-league test on Friday, October 9. The Mavericks come into the test with a record of 1-4. Mesa Verde won 23-12 in their recent league test against Natomas (Sacramento, CA)
