Florida High School Football - Port Charlotte gets by North Fort Myers
September 30, 2016: North Fort Myers, FL 33903 The Port Charlotte Pirates football squad scored 38 points and restricted the host North Fort Myers Red Knights to 34 in the Pirates league victory on Friday.
The Pirates now possess a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sebring for a non-league battle on Friday, October 7. Port Charlotte will play a Blue Streaks squad coming off a 20-13 league loss to Auburndale (Auburndale, FL). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 4-1.
Coming up next, the Red Knights play the Charlotte Fightin' Tarpons (Punta Gorda, FL) in a 6A District 10 challenge, on Friday, October 14. North Fort Myers will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Fightin' Tarpons come into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 63-20 league win over Island Coast (Cape Coral, FL).
