The Del Norte Tigers held off the host La Veta Redskins volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Friday's league test.

The Tigers now have a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sangre de Cristo for a 2A Southern Peaks test on Saturday, October 8. Del Norte will confront a Thunderbirds team coming off a 3-1 league win over Custer County (Westcliffe, CO). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 3-7.

The Redskins (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Swink (Swink, CO). The Lions enter the non-league test with a 8-1 record. In their last test, Swink held off Hoehne (Hoehne, CO), 3-1, in a league test.
