In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Hickory Red Tornadoes basketball team scored a decisive 77-31 triumph over the South Point Red Raiders.

In their next game, the Red Tornadoes confront the Rutherfordton-Spindale Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 25.
