October 20, 2006: Waco, TX 76712 Fans at Friday's league match between the Waco Lions (Waco, TX) and the host Midway Panthers (Waco, TX), witnessed Waco's football team rout Midway by a tally of 65-14.
The Lions (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Killeen (Killeen, TX). The Kangaroos enter the 4A Region II District 16 match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, Killeen routed Brownwood (Brownwood, TX), 33-6, in a league match.
The Panthers (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Copperas Cove (Copperas Cove, TX). The Bulldawgs enter the 4A Region II District 16 match with a 6-1 record. In their last match, Copperas Cove routed University (Waco, TX), 57-0, in a league match.
