October 21, 2005: Aptos, CA 95003 Aptos Mariners (Aptos, CA) fans were pleased Friday as they witnessed their football team notch a victory over the visiting Scotts Valley Falcons (Scotts Valley, CA), 23-7 in a league game.
With the win, Aptos improves its record to 4-3 on the season. The Mariners travel to Carmel (Carmel, CA) to meet the Padres in a non-league game on Saturday, October 29. The Padres enter the game with a record of 7-0. Carmel won 24-0 in their recent league game against Stevenson (Pebble Beach, CA)
Next up, the Falcons meet the San Lorenzo Valley Cougars (Felton, CA) in a Santa Cruz Coast game, on Saturday, October 29. Scotts Valley will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Cougars enter the game with a 6-1 record after their 42-20 league win over Santa Cruz (Felton, CA).
